Eyelash extension aftercare in Cebu's weather

Cebu is beautiful — but the heat, humidity, sweat and beach trips can be tough on eyelash extensions. Here's how to keep yours looking flawless all season.

1. Respect the first 24 hours

Right after your appointment, the adhesive is still curing. Keep your lashes completely dry for the first 24 hours — that means no sweaty workouts, no steam, and no swimming. This single step makes the biggest difference to how long your set lasts.

2. Manage heat & sweat

Cebu humidity means more sweat, and salt from sweat can weaken lash bonds over time. After a hot day or a workout, gently cleanse your lashes with a lash-safe foam and pat them dry. Don't let sweat and oil sit on your lashes.

3. Beach & pool days

4. Clean lashes = long-lasting lashes

It's a myth that you shouldn't wash lash extensions. The opposite is true: gently cleansing daily removes oil, sweat and makeup that would otherwise loosen the bonds. Use a soft brush to fluff them back up once dry.

5. Book refills before they thin out

Even with perfect care, natural lashes shed. A refill every 2–3 weeks keeps your set full. Learn more in how long eyelash extensions last, or see our full aftercare guide.
