Eyelash extension curls explained

Ever heard your artist say "C curl" or "D curl" and just nodded along? Here's what those letters actually mean.

What is a lash curl?

The curl is how much the extension bends upward — from a soft, natural lift to a dramatic, wide-awake curl. It's one of the biggest factors in your final look.

The common curls

B curl — soft and natural, close to your own lash.
C curl — the most popular; a pretty, noticeable lift.
CC / D curl — more dramatic, opens the eye further.
L / M curl — lifted at the base, great for hooded or downturned eyes.

Which curl suits you

Straighter natural lashes often suit a stronger curl (D, L) to hold the lift; already-curled lashes may love a softer C. Hooded eyes tend to shine with an L or M curl.
